Job summary

ByteDance is seeking a Payroll Analyst in Singapore to manage monthly payroll processes, verify inputs and ensure accuracy of outputs and statutory payments. The role requires handling payroll for multiple ASEAN countries, audits, and strong collaboration with HR partners to enhance employee experience.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of in-house payroll experience, solid payroll/tax knowledge across ASEAN, and excellent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above.
• 3+ years inhouse payroll operation experience.
• Payroll and tax knowledge in ASEAN countries.
• Strong vendor management and project management skills.
• Strong influence and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent English; additional language is a plus to support overseas stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• 1. Responsible for monthly payroll activities such as collating and validating inputs, output and statutory payments.
• 2. With proven track record in providing high standard of payroll verification and checking skills for few ASEAN countries.
• 3. Experience in legal and compliance audits in few ASEAN countries, such as income taxes, statutory social securities.
• 4. Drive for payroll operational and execution excellence
• 5. Manage payroll vendors effectively by strictly adhering to the contract and SLA
• 6. Develop relationships with local authorities, not limited to Social Security, Tax, etc.
• 7. Partnering and work collaboratively with HR Business Partners, HR Operations team to elevate employee experience.
• 8. Always drive for payroll operational and execution excellence.
