Job summary

Databricks is recruiting a Senior Payroll Analyst to support accurate and timely payroll processing for the Asia region (Australia, Korea, Japan and Singapore). You will collaborate with the Payroll Director, vendors, and cross-functional partners to ensure compliant and efficient payroll operations.

Based in Singapore, you will validate, reconcile and pre‑post payroll data, respond to employee inquiries, and participate in process improvements and system enhancements.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of payroll processing experience in Asia region.
• Experience working for a multinational and high-growth company.
• Solid understanding of statutory payroll requirements, taxes, and government reporting for supported countries.
• Intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, formulas) and data reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Payroll processing support for Asia (Australia, Korea, Japan, Singapore).
• Data validation and reconciliations before and after payroll runs.
• Vendor collaboration to troubleshoot issues and meet SLAs.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and internal controls for each country.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries via case management tool.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Maintain payroll documentation and support project testing.
