Job summary

AIA Shared Services in Singapore is seeking an experienced risk and compliance professional to lead the Ops Risk function for Tied Distribution. You will review controls, manage risk areas, and drive change initiatives to improve regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, maintain documentation, and coordinate audits, ensuring timely attestations and robust risk governance across the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; 6–8 years in financial institutions with risk/compliance background.
• Knowledge of risk management frameworks, regulatory requirements and controls.
• Proficient in Excel and Power BI; VBA and Outlook macros are an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Heads the Ops Risk function for TD Ops.
• Review SOPs, identify risk areas and perform gap analyses.
• Ensure controls remain relevant and implement new ones as needed.
• Improve documentation and archiving for retrieval.
• Lead audits across the department; address audit findings.
• Drive change initiatives to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate regulatory inquiries and maintain risk registers.
• Support change management activities and stakeholder engagement.
