Job summary

Master Systems in Singapore is seeking a dynamic Marine Business Development Executive who will identify new business opportunities, develop client relationships, and drive sales within the marine and shipping industry. The role requires knowledge of marine services, ship repair, and strong negotiation skills.

You will visit clients, present services, prepare quotations, coordinate with technical teams, and maintain records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Marine Engineering, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in business development or sales in marine or shipping sectors.
• Strong knowledge of marine services and ship repair.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Proven ability to develop new business and convert leads.
• Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the marine and shipping industry.
• Generate leads and establish relationships with ship owners, managers, agents, yards, and related companies.
• Promote marine services including ship repair, maintenance and technical services.
• Visit potential clients, conduct meetings, and present services and capabilities.
• Follow up on enquiries, prepare quotations, and coordinate with internal technical teams.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for repeat business.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
• Negotiate commercial terms and close sales opportunities.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and BD objectives.
• Maintain client databases, sales reports, and regular follow-up records.
