Job summary

Direct Search Global is seeking a Business Development Executive to join our Marine Industry team in Singapore. You will drive new business opportunities, manage customer relationships and promote marine products and services to shipowners, ship managers, yards and vessel operators.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in sales or business development within marine or related sectors, strong communication and negotiation skills, and willing to travel for client meetings.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in business development, sales, or related commercial role.
• Experience in marine, maritime, offshore, shipping or engineering preferred.
• Bachelor's or diploma in business, engineering, or maritime studies is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in marine markets.
• Build relationships with shipowners, managers, yards, operators.
• Prepare quotations and commercial proposals for customers.
• Follow up on inquiries and sales opportunities to convert to business.
• Maintain CRM records and report sales activities.
• Attend industry events to generate new leads.
