Job summary

Sunningdale Tech Ltd is seeking a Cost Analyst to strengthen our cost accounting in a manufacturing environment. You will validate BOMs, build cost structures, and manage standard costs with variance analysis.

A diploma or certificate in accountancy is required, with 1–2 years of related experience preferred. You will monitor manufacturing costs, prepare detailed cost reports, and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Accountancy is required.
• 1–2 years in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Understanding of manufacturing operations and supply chain.
• Experience with standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory management is a plus.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills.
• Good communication and planning skills.
• Self-motivated and collaborative with leadership potential.

Responsibilities

• BOM Review and validate BOMs before release.
• Develop and maintain product cost structures including material, labor, and overhead components.
• Establish and update standard costs; conduct variance analyses.
• Monitor manufacturing costs including direct materials, direct labor and overhead.
• Investigate and explain variances with actionable recommendations.
• Manage inventory closing and stock take processes.
• Prepare cost reports, dashboards, and analyses for management.
• Identify opportunities to improve cost accounting processes and systems efficiency.
• Ensure cost accounting practices comply with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Collaborate with operations and Plant Managers on cost-related initiatives.
