Job summary

UMS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage costing, financial statements, and standard costing for product operations. The role involves setting standard costs, variance analysis, and preparing costing reports to drive efficiency.

You will also analyze revenue and costs, assist in budgeting/forecasting, and support internal/external audits while maintaining asset registers and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in accounting/finance or related field.
• CPA or ACCA certification preferred.
• 4+ years of accounting/finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices and procedures.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Experience with EPICOR/BC365 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare costing of product operations reports and financial statements.
• Set standard costs for products and calculate monthly variances.
• Perform cost variance analysis and prepare costing reports.
• Analyze revenue and costs to improve manufacturing operations.
• Maintain internal control systems in line with governance.
• Maintain the fixed assets register.
• Assist in yearly/quarterly inventories counts.
• Monitor inventory levels and optimize holdings.
• Perform month-end closing and generate management reports.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting reports.
• Support internal & external audits.
• Handle ad-hoc duties as assigned by Manager.
