Job summary

Sunningdale Tech Ltd is seeking a Cost Analyst to strengthen our cost accounting in a manufacturing environment. You will validate BOMs, build cost structures, and manage standard costs with variance analysis.

A diploma or certificate in accountancy is required, with 1–2 years of related experience preferred. You will monitor manufacturing costs, prepare detailed cost reports, and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities

• BOM Review and validate BOMs before release.
• Develop and maintain product cost structures including material, labor, and overhead components.

• Investigate and explain variances with actionable recommendations.
• Manage inventory closing and stock take processes.
• Prepare cost reports, dashboards, and analyses for management.
• Identify opportunities to improve cost accounting processes and systems efficiency.
• Ensure cost accounting practices comply with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Collaborate with operations and Plant Managers on cost-related initiatives.

• Product Costing: Develop and maintain accurate product cost structures, including material, labor, and overhead components
• Standard Cost Management: Establish and update standard costs, conduct variance analysis, and investigate cost deviations

Job Requirements

Requirements:

• Possess a Certificate or Diploma in Accountancy, or a related equivalent qualification.
• Preferably with 1 to2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing environment
• Understanding of manufacturing operations, production processes, and supply chain management
• Preferably with standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory management Experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Able to communicate effectively with different level of people and strong in organizational and planning skills
• Self-motivated, deadline-oriented, collaborative team player with leadership potential
• Adaptable and proactive in a dynamic environment
• Experience with SAP is an advantage
