Job summary

The Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) invites applications for a Manager to help shape and execute strategies that position Singapore as a global logistics hub. You will analyse global trends, design value propositions, and collaborate with government and industry partners.

You will also manage a portfolio of corporate clients, build strategic relationships, negotiate opportunities, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver projects that boost Singapore's logistics ecosystem.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a strategy, policy, research, industry development or relevant industry role.
• Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking with ability to distill insights from data.
• Keen business acumen to identify opportunities for Singapore at industry level.
• Excellent project management and leadership skills for cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with stakeholders at all levels.
• Adaptable and able to respond quickly to changes in the business environment.
• Good team player and independent thinker.
• Experience in quantitative analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth analysis of global trends to derive insights for Singapore’s ecosystem.
• Design value propositions and programmes to attract logistics HQs and activities to Singapore.
• Implement strategies and policy changes through collaboration with internal and external partners.
• Serve as main EDB contact for a portfolio of corporate clients and oversee end-to-end engagement.
• Develop deep understanding of clients and their needs to refresh engagement strategies.
• Identify and structure project opportunities for win‑win outcomes.
• Offer solutions to address client requests and challenges.
• Activate internal resources to support client engagement and initiatives.
• Build understanding of regional/global industry trends to create opportunities.
