The Institute of Banking and Finance (IBF) in Singapore seeks a professional to contribute to the Sector & Skills Development Division, focusing on emerging skills development and collaborations with financial institutions, professional bodies, and training providers.

You will research sector trends, define skill requirements, and drive strategies to align with industry needs, while promoting accreditation and expanding training offerings across the financial sector.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and driving strategies to address skills development and adoption.
• Prior experience in business or partnership development within the financial sector or accreditation would be preferred.
• Learning and development and academic experience would be an advantage.
• Self-driven, analytical, resourceful and results oriented.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Conduct research on sector and skills trends and identify emerging skills through research, data insights, and stakeholder engagement
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and co-create emerging skills requirements aligned with industry needs
• Develop and drive strategies to address skills needs and adoption in the financial sector
• Partner financial institutions, professional bodies, tertiary and training institutions to expand the training offerings for the skills development needs of the financial sector.
• Promote and accredit training programmes based on the Skills Framework for Financial Services as well as other training schemes.
• Perform management reporting and presentations on the strategies, interventions, progress, and outcomes
• Serve as the secretariat for committees and lead regional and international skills collaborations
