Job summary

DesignSingapore Council is seeking a Head of Strategy and Product Innovation (SPI) to steer the division, shape the Design 2035 Masterplan, and ensure its delivery. You will manage a portfolio of products and incentive policies driving impact for the design sector in Singapore.

The role leads two teams—Strategic Planning and Product Innovation—and reports to the Group Head for the Sector Development Group, guiding research, partnerships, and programme delivery.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years in strategic and product development, with research and budgeting experience.
• Proven leadership in guiding teams across units and delivering outcomes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Strategic Planning: set direction, prioritise initiatives, and drive the Design 2035 Masterplan.
• Oversee Product Innovation: shape offer development and incentive policies with partners.
• Drive research, advocacy and market insights to inform design sector strategy.
