Job summary

DesignSingapore Council (Dsg) seeks a Manager/Senior Manager in the Partners division to engage business leaders, raise awareness, and drive adoption of design for strategy and organisational transformation. You will collaborate with design consultancies and thought leaders to curate programmes and foster partnerships to help Singapore enterprises leverage design for growth.

Qualifications

• Degree holder with 2 to 8 years of relevant experience in business development, industry development, or design management.
• Background or degree preferably in Business Management, Marketing or Design.
• Client-management experience in a strategic design or public sector engagement programmes/strategies.
• Experience in events and project management.
• Familiarity with design innovation principles and process is a bonus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and basic event planning tools/platforms.

Responsibilities

• Engage business leaders to understand challenges and facilitate connections and support for impact through design.
• Meet local and global designers and consultancies to learn capabilities and best practices.
• Organise outreach activities (learning journeys, roundtables, networking) for business leaders and design/innovation leads.
• Curate content with designers and thought leaders to amplify value of design.
• Structure and implement programmes to grow internal innovation capabilities through design.
• Regularly review strategies and programmes for improvements and new initiatives.
• Develop annual workplan and budget, monitor progress and achievements.
• Undertake Dsg special projects as relevant.
