Job summary

WSG Workforce Singapore Agency is seeking a capable professional to support the jobs and skills pillar in Singapore. You will identify industry manpower challenges, engage partners, and design strategic human capital solutions aligned with industry needs.

The role emphasizes stakeholder collaboration with government agencies, associations, and programme partners to implement manpower interventions and promote progressive HR practices. Contract may extend or become permanent based on performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in industry engagement, account/project management and/or consultancy roles.
• Strong written and spoken communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to synthesize opinions and data for decision making.
• Knowledge of Precision Engineering sub-sectors and manpower trends is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess industry manpower challenges and skills needs.
• Manage strategic partners and engage companies to diagnose gaps and opportunities.
• Recommend strategic human capital solutions based on business needs.
• Maintain relationships with strategic partners and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with government agencies and tripartite partners to develop manpower interventions.
• Consult with employers to promote WSG programmes and HR practices.
• Plan and review budget requirements and ensure policy compliance.
• Organise outreach and marketing events such as career events.
• Track programmes’ progress and analyse industry information for management decisions.
