Job summary

ISS Facility Services Singapore seeks a seasoned Business Development Leader to drive growth in prioritised market segments. You will lead strategic initiatives, build and maintain client relationships, and coordinate with operations, finance, and procurement to win new business and expand market share.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Facilities Management, or related field; MBA a plus.
• Over 10 years of experience in business development, pricing, or related field in facilities management.
• Proven track record leading large, complex IFM tenders; Government IFM tenders advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic business development initiatives to identify new opportunities and expand market share in prioritised market segments identified.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, understanding their needs and positioning our services to meet those needs effectively.
• Assist country leadership team to create and implement strategic business plans.
• Conduct market analysis, feasibility studies and competitive assessments to identify trends, gaps, and areas of opportunity.
• Drive proposals, presentations, and pitches to win new business.
• Strong knowledge and application of technologies and sustainability solutions in the integrated facilities management industry
• Collaborate with operations performance, supply chain & procurement, technical, sustainability, workplace health & safety, IT, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure seamless bid management
• Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages innovation, sharing of best practices, and continuous learning
• Lead complex pricing negotiations process, working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment
• Mentor a team of Business Development Managers/Executives, providing guidance and support
• Monitor team performance and provide feedback to enhance individual and collective effectiveness
• Act as a role model, demonstrating leadership by example in driving results and maintaining high standards of professionalism
