TRUST SHIP MANAGEMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior Chief Engineer to lead the technical operations of our fleet. You will supervise maintenance, repairs, docking planning, budgeting, and vessel inspections while ensuring safety and compliance across all activities.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication with clients, and the ability to coordinate surveys and dry-docking projects, both locally and internationally as needed.

Formación

• Min Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5-8 years relevant experience in a similar position.
• Sea-going work experience as Chief Engineer/Marine Engineer with minimum Class 2 certification or equivalent.
• Familiarity with ISM/ISPS and strong organisational skills.

Responsabilidades

• You will be responsible for the overall management and technical operations of our fleet.
• Oversee daily operations of maintenance and repair, budgeting, survey schedules, and vessel inspections.
• Liaise with customers on technical and operational matters including vessel performance.
• Attend to vessel dry docking, repairs and surveys and determine repair specifications.
• Provide reports on dry docking work, budgets and actual expenditures.
• Identify and source supplies and ensure economical rates.
• Ensure certificates and safety records are properly maintained and documented.
• Provide technical assistance to ships at home port and overseas.
• Perform budgeting and cost control on spares and docking requirements.
• Ensure QHSE compliance and continuous improvement across the division.
• Travel as required to support vessel operations and training.
