Job summary

WECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned finance professional in Singapore to manage month-end closing processes and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.

The role will prepare HQ and management reports, perform variance analysis, and provide insights to support strategic planning. You will coordinate year-end audits, oversee tax matters including GST and corporate tax, liaise with auditors and tax advisors, and ensure compliance with local statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the month-end closing process and ensure timely and accurate completion of monthly financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly management reports, Head Office (HQ) reports and other financial reports required by Management.
• Review management accounts and provide detailed variance analysis, including commentary on key movements and trends in the Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.
• Analyse financial performance and provide meaningful insights to support business planning and management decision-making.
• Act as the key liaison between the Finance function and Corporate Secretary on corporate governance matters, including the preparation and coordination of Board Resolutions and relevant statutory requirements.
• Coordinate and support year-end audit activities, ensuring the timely preparation of financial schedules, supporting documents and audit requirements.
• Oversee tax-related matters, including GST, Corporate Income Tax and transfer pricing, ensuring compliance with applicable Singapore statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors and relevant stakeholders on audit, tax and financial reporting matters where required.
• Monitor changes in applicable accounting, tax and statutory requirements and coordinate appropriate actions within the Finance function.
• Undertake ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting and other assignments as required by Management.
