Job summary

Databricks is seeking an Engagement Manager to help customers accelerate value through adoption of the Databricks platform and to strategically solve, build, and sell programs delivered by our Forward Deployed Engineering team. You will partner with Sales, Field Engineering, Partners, Support and Product teams to position and sell engagements that solve our customers’ most complex business problems.

You will report to the Director, Forward Deployed Engineering and will be measured on meeting

Qualifications

• Experience helping customers realize business value through production implementations.
• Proven track record in senior customer-facing/services sales roles.
• Excellent customer-facing skills and ability to build relationships at all levels.
• Strong leadership and delivery governance.
• Ability to translate customer-success outcomes into program plans.
• Proven experience meeting KPIs including CSAT, bookings and revenue.
• Fluency in English plus Mandarin or Bahasa (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Lead customer engagements to accelerate value from the Databricks platform.
• Collaborate with Sales, Field Engineering, Partners, Support and Product teams.
• Define engagement scope, time, cost and benefits with clients.
• Estimate, scope and develop statements of work as needed.
• Drive delivery, resolve challenges, and manage resources.
