Qualifications

• Proven experience as an executive assistant or similar role; supporting Japanese management is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent English; Japanese language ability is an added advantage for liaising with Tokyo Head Office.
• Excellent organization and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Demonstrates multitasking and prioritization to address critical tasks promptly.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the schedules of the General Manager and senior management, including meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
• Coordinate with senior management of SMBC Group (Japan) and adjust plans on short notice and in Japanese.
• Arrange regular meetings with overseas affiliates and subsidiaries.
• Handle confidential information with discretion and integrity; support ad-hoc requests.
• Coordinate internal/external communications, emails, agendas, and follow-ups; collaborate with Tokyo EA.
• Provide backup coverage for other EAs as needed.
