Job summary

Evonik (SEA) Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an experienced supply chain planner to optimize planning and execution for the assigned plants. You will balance demand and supply and support end-to-end planning in a global network.

The position requires a Diploma in SCM or related field, 3+ years of experience, strong analytical and communication skills, customer orientation and flexibility, plus SAP and IBP R&S knowledge.

Qualifications

• Diploma in supply chain management, business processes, industrial engineering, business management or business administration.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in supply chain management and production scheduling.
• Strong analytical skills to work independently on complex issues.
• High degree of customer orientation as well as resilience, result orientation and flexibility.
• Strong communication skills.
• Profound SAP and IBP R&S knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Plans and manages allocated supply chain resources and demand processes to ensure the business meets agreed customer service targets at minimal operating cost and optimum stock levels.
• Responsible to balance demand and supply for the assigned plants from annual to weekly basis in the context of regional and global network planning; Establish factual base for constrained supply determination, calculate/implement supply plans.
• Run and adapt Integrated Business Planning Response and Supply (IBP R&S) within the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes for the assigned plants.
• Responsible for monitoring planning effectiveness KPIs, drive measures for improvement.
• Execute allocation processes in case of supply shortage targeting at Business Line (BL) interest maximization. Monitor bottleneck prevention effectiveness, execute improvement measures.
• Responsible for inventory management of the assigned plants to optimize Net Working Capital (NWC) and balance with service levels and supply chain costs.
• Support global Supply Chain Management (SCM) projects such as Distribution Network Optimization, End to End Planning tools implementation for SCM hub plants.
• Monitoring variable cost increase (raw material, transportation & warehousing cost) to communicate to Product Line Manager for pricing review with customer.
• Processing of service complaints in cooperation with the logistics functions, production plants and external service providers.
