Job summary

INTER-CONTINENTAL OILS & FATS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Demand Planning and Supply Chain Coordinator to manage forecasting and coordinate bulk shipments for oleochemical and functional products. The role requires close collaboration with sales, production, and logistics teams to ensure accurate forecasts and timely shipments.

You will consolidate forecasts, analyze market trends, and support monthly planning meetings. Strong Excel skills and business acumen are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level qualification in supply chain management or a technical discipline.
• Experience in supply chain operations or customer-facing roles in palm/oleochemicals.
• Positive attitude, strong drive, and business acumen.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate demand forecasts for oleochemical and functional products and update production planning promptly.
• Collaborate with sales and business teams to improve forecast accuracy by analyzing market trends, seasonality, and demand patterns
• Coordinate with production planning, sales coordinators, logistics, and freight departments to ensure timely readiness of supply cargo for shipment.
• Work with regional sales teams to guarantee timely shipment and replenishment of bulk shipment products.
• Manage the execution of monthly bulk shipment programs, track progress, and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve urgent issues during loading and discharging.
• Communicate proactively with business and sales teams regarding supply status and potential risks to maintain supply continuity.
• Participate actively in monthly planning meetings with stakeholders to align supply chain activities.
• Develop reports for demand and forecast error analysis, yearly budgeting, and ad hoc reporting as required.
