Charterhouse Partnership is supporting a leading global financial services organisation in Singapore to appoint a Data & AI Governance Lead. The role shapes enterprise-wide data governance and ethical AI practices across global businesses.

You will oversee data quality frameworks, AI governance, regulatory alignment, and risk management. The position requires senior stakeholder engagement and the ability to operate in a matrix organisation.

Qualifikationen

• 10–15+ years in data, analytics, or governance roles within financial services.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, or related quantitative field.
• Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, data protection regulations, and AI/ML risk management.
• Hands-on familiarity with data management tools and cloud environments.
• Ability to work effectively in complex, matrixed organisations and influence at senior leadership level.
• Strong communication skills to translate governance concepts for non-technical audiences.

Aufgaben

• Design, implement, and continuously enhance data governance frameworks, policies, and standards to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
• Establish clear ownership models across data domains, working closely with data owners and stewards.
• Define and enforce AI governance and ethics principles, including model risk assessment, bias detection, privacy, and security controls.
• Align AI governance practices with global regulatory and industry standards.
• Lead governance alignment with key regulatory requirements, including data risk, reporting standards, and material outsourcing (including cloud).
• Act as a trusted partner to Risk, Compliance, and Legal teams on data-related regulatory matters.
• Drive metadata management initiatives such as data lineage, business glossaries, and data dictionaries.
• Serve as a central governance point of contact across Technology, Data, Risk, Compliance, and business teams.
• Influence senior stakeholders and embed governance practices into day-to-day operations.
• Support the automation and digitisation of governance processes to improve efficiency, transparency, and risk visibility.
