Job summary

Manpower staffing services (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking a seasoned Cost Manager to own and refine project cost estimates, budgets and forecasts. You will lead lifecycle costing and value engineering across programs, drive cost control and risk mitigation, and coordinate with clients, contractors, and design teams to ensure contractual alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant cost management experience.
• Excellent proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience managing cost plans, forecasts, change control, invoice reviews, and commercial reporting.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own the preparation and review of cost estimates, cost plans, budgets, and forecasts using project information.
• Lead value engineering and lifecycle costing exercises for projects.
• Prepare, review, and manage cost control reports, forecasts, and cash flow reporting.
• Manage project change control, including change orders, commitments, invoices, forecasts, and cost impact assessments.
• Review change orders, invoices, quotations for commercial accuracy and contractual alignment.
• Identify and manage commercial and cost risks within projects.
• Participate in pre-contract and post-contract discussions for commercial input.
• Represent cost management in client, project, contractor, and design team meetings.
