Job summary

Science Centre Singapore invites a proactive communications professional to join the Marketing & Communications team as Associate, Corporate Communications. You will support PR campaigns, manage media relations, and craft content for LinkedIn, websites and internal channels.

You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify story opportunities, monitor results, and assist with crisis communications and partnerships to strengthen the Centre's reputation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications, PR, Marketing or related field.
• At least 2 years in PR, media relations, marketing communications or journalism.
• Strong writing and storytelling; ability to tailor content for multiple audiences.
• Excellent stakeholder management; able to work across teams and with external partners.
• Good understanding of Singapore’s media and digital landscape; media/KOL relationships a plus.
• Experience with paid publisher/creator partnerships is advantageous.
• Social media, CMS, media monitoring and analytics tools familiarity.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and responsible use in communications.
• Adobe Creative Suite experience is an advantage.
• Willingness to support events and after-hours engagements.

Responsibilities

• Develop media releases, pitches, talking points and other collateral.
• Build relationships with media, KOLs, creators and content partners.
• Plan and coordinate media and KOL engagements, previews and on-site activities.
• Support paid content partnerships from briefs to campaign delivery.
• Develop content across LinkedIn, website, eDMs and internal channels.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify newsworthy stories and messaging.
• Monitor media and campaign performance; provide insights and optimizations.
• Manage media enquiries and crisis-related materials.
• Coordinate with agencies and vendors to ensure on-brand outputs.
• Keep abreast of media/digital trends relevant to Science Centre Singapore.
