Job summary

Science Centre Singapore is seeking a proactive communications professional to join the Marketing & Communications department as Associate, Corporate Communications. This role supports and executes PR campaigns, builds relationships with media, KOLs and partners, and translates stories into compelling content for diverse audiences.

You will work with internal stakeholders to identify newsworthy stories, develop communications angles, and ensure timely messaging across channels, including

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in PR, media relations, marketing communications, corporate communications, or journalism.
• Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Singapore’s media and digital landscape; existing media/KOL relationships a plus.
• Experience with paid publisher, content creator or influencer partnerships.
• Familiarity with social media platforms, CMS, media monitoring and analytics tools.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools and responsible use.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is an advantage.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop compelling communications materials including media releases, pitches, talking points, FAQs and speeches.
• Build and maintain relationships with media, KOLs, creators and content partners.
• Plan and coordinate media and KOL engagements, previews, visits and interviews.
• Support paid content partnerships from identifying partners to coordinating briefs and delivery.
• Develop and manage content across LinkedIn, website, eDMs, social and internal channels.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify newsworthy stories and ensure consistent messaging.
• Monitor media performance and use analytics to drive improvements.
• Manage media enquiries and draft responses, holding statements and crisis materials.
• Support crisis communications protocols and SOPs.
• Coordinate with agencies and vendors to ensure timely, on-brand deliverables.
• Stay abreast of media trends and opportunities relevant to Science Centre Singapore.
