Job summary

SPH Media in Singapore seeks a Senior Manager / Manager of Content Licensing & Strategic Partnerships to lead licensing, syndication and monetisation efforts. You will drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships while guiding the licensing function and collaborating with Editorial, Commercial, Product, Technology and Legal teams.

The role requires strong negotiation skills, a track record in business development and experience leading cross-functional initiatives to deliver go-to-market

Qualifications

• 8 to 10 years in media, publishing, licensing, business development or strategic partnerships.
• Experience negotiating commercial agreements and managing strategic partnerships.
• Experience leading teams and cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

• Content Licensing & Partnerships: Grow revenue through licensing and syndication; develop and manage strategic licensing partnerships locally and internationally; negotiate commercial agreements and manage partner relationships; identify new licensing and distribution opportunities.
• Business Development: Develop new revenue opportunities across content licensing, AI, digital publishing and emerging platforms; build a healthy partnership pipeline; lead commercial discussions.
• Rights & Governance: Work with internal Legal team to manage licensing agreements and IP rights; ensure compliance with terms and governance.
• Leadership: Lead and mentor the Content Licensing team; establish scalable processes; drive cross-functional alignment to execute go-to-market initiatives.
• Success Measures: Growth in licensing and syndication revenue; new partnerships; growth in opportunities; partner satisfaction; team development; delivery of strategic initiatives.
