Job description

The incumbent will lead SPH Media's content licensing and strategic partnerships portfolio by growing the commercial value of our content through licensing, syndication and new monetisation opportunities. This role is responsible for developing strategic partnerships, identifying new revenue streams and leading the Content Licensing function to support SPH Media's long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Grow revenue through content licensing and syndication.
• Develop and manage strategic licensing partnerships locally and internationally.
• Negotiate commercial agreements and manage partner relationships.
• Identify new licensing and distribution opportunities.

Business Development

• Develop new revenue opportunities across content licensing, AI, digital publishing and emerging platforms.
• Build a healthy partnership pipeline and lead commercial discussions.
• Represent SPH Media in partnership and industry engagements.

Rights & Governance

• Work with internal Legal team to manage licensing agreements and intellectual property rights.
• Ensure compliance with licensing terms and maintain proper governance.

Leadership

• Lead, mentor and inspire the Content Licensing team, fostering a highly collaborative and high-performance culture.
Establish scalable processes and best practices to support future growth.
• Drive cross-functional alignment across Editorial, Commercial, Product, Technology and Legal teams to ensure seamless execution of go-to-market initiatives
