Job summary

ELEVON CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a Category Manager to drive growth across assigned product categories in Singapore. You will implement structured category management to optimise financial results, customer appeal, and market competitiveness, based in Tampines North.

Responsibilities include developing strategic plans, managing assortments, executing promotions, and strengthening supplier terms to improve profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Category Management, Procurement, KAM and/or similar role.
• Strong commercial acumen with track record of sales/profit improvements.
• Knowledge/experience in sourcing or buying.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic category plans to meet sales, profit and income targets.
• Build and manage product assortment based on customer needs and market trends.
• Plan and implement promotional activities to drive revenue.
• Contribute to shrink reduction through effective purchasing and stock management.
• Define placement strategies and planograms to enhance customer experience.
• Formulate competitive pricing strategies to deliver value and meet goals.
• Foster supplier partnerships to maximise terms, discounts and joint opportunities.
• Lead private label development within assigned categories.
