Job summary

Dyson is seeking a Finance Leader for the Category function in Singapore. You will drive the financial strategy, forecast, and P&L performance for key product categories across markets, partnering with RDD, operations and marketing to align financial goals with business objectives.

You will deliver timely insights, lead budgeting governance, and support executive reporting while mentoring finance staff to foster growth and best practices.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with post-qualification experience in commercial finance.
• Experience in consumer-facing premium or technology brands.
• Proven record in strategic financial reporting and P&L management.
• Exposure to cross-functional teams including marketing and product development.
• Strong analytical capability with ability to translate data into insights.
• Ability to distill complex finance data for non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong communication to influence senior stakeholders across functions.
• Understanding of investment appraisal, demand and capacity planning, ROI evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Assess business cases and drive decisions for New Launches.
• Plan and optimize global Category P&L performance with Category Director.
• Deliver insights informing category performance and market intelligence.
• Establish performance measures across reporting frameworks.
• Benchmark against categories and markets and provide actionable insights.
• Support resource allocation for product development, infra, and operations.
• Collaborate with BBI teams to measure ROI on marketing activities.
• Prepare for monthly reviews and governance discussions.
