Job summary

PwC is seeking an Associate to join the Strategic Capital Solutions team in APAC. The role starts with the Edge Programme, a two-year rotation, plus an intensive PwC Masterclass to build valuation and financial modelling skills, with sponsorship for the CVA programme.

From year three you specialise in Deals, advising on M&A, private credit and restructuring, while expanding your deal knowledge and internal network across multiple Deals competencies.

Qualifications

• Final year Accountancy, Business, Economics and Finance students from local and overseas universities.
• Excellent academic record (minimum 2nd class upper) and co-curricular achievement.
• Strong interest in finance, investment banking, private credit and/or private equity.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Previous internship experience or active membership in Corporate Finance or Investment Banking clubs is a plus with prior financial modelling experience.

Responsibilities

• Research and carry out business and financial analysis for assessing suitable capital structure solutions and operational / strategic optimisation
• Build comprehensive financial models and perform financial analysis to support client strategic decisions
• Craft teasers and confidential information memorandum to market fundraising deals
• Participate in strategic and operational brainstorming sessions with the wider PwC deals team to help create tailored solutions for clients
