Maybell Quantum Industries is seeking a Buyer to join the Manufacturing Operations team. You will own purchase orders from sourcing to delivery, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure on-time, on-cost parts for cryogenic hardware.

Responsibilities span PO management, supplier onboarding, expediting, and material planning, with collaboration across Production, Planning, Engineering, and Quality to optimize data in the ERP.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of experience as a buyer or material planner in manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience placing and managing POs in an ERP/MRP system.
• Knowledge of lead times, MOQs, reorder points, and PO terms.
• Strong follow-through and clear supplier communication.
• Ability to read basic engineering drawings and BOMs.
• Experience buying machined, sheet metal, vacuum, or electrical components is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Place, manage, and negotiate purchase orders aligned to build schedules.
• Run RFQs for build-to-print and catalog parts; verify pricing and awards.
• Secure supplier commit dates, track in ERP, flag risks early.
• Expedite orders and manage changes, pricing, and lead times.
• Onboard suppliers and handle NDAs, credits, and tax/banking forms.
• Support material planning, shortages, and reorder points.
• Collaborate with Engineering on new parts and drawings.
