Job summary

Pacific International Lines seeks an Assistant General Manager, Business Controlling to lead the budgeting, forecasting and cost control for a $3b/year business. You will consolidate budgets by unit, subsidiary, trade and equipment P&L, and drive monthly rolling forecasts with deployment-driven rate and load-factor adjustments.

Reporting to senior management, you will prepare monthly performance updates for the CEO and Board, support strategic projects including CAPEX and vessel costing, and

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting, finance or related business discipline.
• 20+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in leading teams and collaborating with senior management.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and process improvement skills.
• Experience with Anaplan, LMS and dashboarding tools like Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and consolidate the annual budget of $3b across units, subsidiaries, and trade.
• Develop monthly rolling forecast with deployment-driven rate/volume/load-factor updates.
• Prepare monthly updates to CEO and Board with performance, forecast and market highlights.
• Support ad hoc strategic projects directed by CEO and CFO including CAPEX and vessel costing.
• Co-own costing systems and Anaplan maintenance for financial data integrity.
