Job summary

The National Environment Agency (NEA) in Singapore seeks a Budget and Resource Planning professional to manage the end-to-end annual budget cycle, evaluate funding proposals and advise on project budgets. You will collaborate with partner departments to secure funding and drive efficiency through technology-enabled process improvements.

The role requires a degree in Business/Accounting with 3+ years of relevant experience, and familiarity with government finance policies.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Accountancy or related discipline with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with Government Finance policies is preferred.
• Public sector budgeting experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end annual budget process (planning, review, monitoring, reporting).
• Evaluate funding proposals and advise on project funding and budget matters.
• Partner Departments to secure project funding and budgets with internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify areas to leverage technology and develop capabilities to improve work processes.
• Policy and process reviews to strengthen governance and drive improvements.
