Job summary

The NEA National Environment Agency in Singapore is seeking a Budget and Resource Planning professional to oversee the end-to-end annual budget and funding processes within the Finance Division. You will evaluate funding proposals, partner with departments and stakeholders, and identify opportunities to streamline budgets and governance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Accountancy or related discipline with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with Government Finance policies is preferred.
• Excellent written, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end annual budget process (budget planning, review of budget requests, monitoring of budget utilisation, reporting to management).
• Evaluate funding proposals and provide advice on project funding and budget matters.
• Partner Departments to secure project funding and budgets with internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify areas to leverage technology and develop capabilities to improve work processes.
• Policy and process reviews to strengthen governance and monitoring mechanisms and drive process improvements.
