Job summary

You will play a pivotal role in shaping how public resources advance SWDA’s jobs and skills priorities. Working with Ministries, SWDA divisions and senior management, you will steward SWDA’s annual and multi-year budgets, turn financial insights into strategic decisions, and help deliver meaningful outcomes for individuals, employers and the training, career and employment services ecosystem.

This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Team Leader.

Qualifications

• Experience in budget planning and expenditure analysis.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and reports.
• Strong negotiation and cross-ministerial collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Budget Planning and Funding: drive annual budget planning and secure funding.
• Secure multi-year budgets by aligning needs with ministries.
• Resource Allocation and Optimisation across operations and programmes.
• Budget Management, Advisory and Governance: strengthen governance and prepare submissions.
• Performance Monitoring and Data Insights: review utilisation and develop dashboards.
