Job summary

LEE YIN APPAREL INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. seeks a Business Intelligence Analyst to design and automate cross-department reporting using AI tools like Claude, Power BI, and SQL. The role sits as a strategic analytics counterpart to the systems developer and reports to the Chief of Staff.

You will build self-refreshing dashboards, define metrics with department heads, and scale an analytics workflow that reduces manual querying while guiding factory strategy with data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• 0-4 years in a business analyst, data analyst, or BI-related role.
• Demonstrated hands-on use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar).
• Working knowledge of Power BI or equivalent BI tool.
• Basic to intermediate SQL for querying relational data.
• Experience with Smartsheet & Smartsuite is a plus.
• Exposure to ERP systems (SAGE X3 or equivalent) as a data source is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Departmental reporting design & automation with metrics driving decisions.
• Build automated, self-refreshing dashboards and reports using Power BI or Smartsheet.
• Prioritize leading indicators over lagging ones where possible.
• Use Claude and similar tools to query factory data in natural language.
• Translate queries into structured reports and scalable workflows.
• Act as the analytics layer translating factory strategy into a reporting roadmap.
• Educate users and coordinate with HQ IT on reporting pipelines.
