Job summary

The Dyson Institute in Singapore seeks a Lead BI Scientist to architect and deliver analytics, dashboards, data models, and reporting solutions using Tableau, Power BI, and GenAI-enabled techniques.

You will lead a small team, collaborate with stakeholders, ensure data quality, and drive innovation across analytics platforms, cloud data ecosystems, and scalable analytics.

A strong background in SQL, Python, ETL, and ML, plus 6+ years in BI/data analytics, is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related STEM field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related analytics roles.
• Proven expertise with BI/visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView; substantial experience in developing interactive dashboards and scalable data models.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python (or PySpark) for analytics, automation, and data manipulation.
• Strong experience with data modeling, ETL development, and application of advanced analytics (e.g., predictive modeling, machine learning, GenAI).
• Demonstrated success leading agile project teams and delivering analytics solutions in dynamic business environments.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver robust dashboards, data models, and reporting solutions using BI platforms.
• Lead technical delivery of BI projects from requirements to deployment.
• Translate business questions into impactful analytics solutions and data visualizations.
• Perform advanced data analyses to uncover trends and opportunities.
• Engage with stakeholders and lead agile ceremonies to ensure timely project delivery.
• Mentor BI scientists and promote best practices within the analytics community.
