American Express Technology seeks a senior AI/ML leader to drive enterprise AI strategies and cross-functional delivery across Credit, Fraud, Risk, Web, Mobile, Marketing, and Automation domains.

You will mentor engineers, shape deployment strategies in cloud environments, and collaborate with partners to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions using Generative AI, NLP, and time-series forecasting.

Formación

• Master's or PhD in CS/Engineering; PhD preferred.
• 8+ years in full lifecycle product development and leadership for scalable systems.
• 8+ years delivering AI/ML solutions at scale with notable research output.
• Expert in Generative AI, ML, DL, NLP, time-series forecasting, and related areas.
• Hands-on with Airflow, Kubeflow, MLflow; Docker, Kubernetes; monitoring tools.
• Experience with GCP and/or AWS is a plus.
• Strong communication and leadership across teams and partners.

Responsabilidades

• Drive AI and decision science vision and strategy across the organization.
• Combine AI/ML and tech know-how to deploy scalable solutions (GenAI, NLP, time series, etc.).
• Research and test new ideas and publish results where applicable.
• Define deployment strategies for production AI solutions in cloud infrastructure at scale.
• Lead high-level and detailed technical designs and conduct reviews.
• Ensure health and quality of code across the portfolio with CI/CD integration.
• Provide technical mentorship to team members at all levels.
• Participate in business and technical discussions across Amex.
