Job summary

American Express is seeking an Analyst, AI/ML to join a cross-functional team driving cutting-edge Generative AI solutions for business challenges. The role emphasizes hands-on prototyping, rapid iteration, and close collaboration with Credit, Fraud, Risk, Web, Mobile, Marketing, and Enterprise Automation teams.

You will prototype, train, and deploy models, staying abreast of the latest AI/ML trends and applying them to real-world problems.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline.
• Strong programming skills in at least one language.
• Familiarity with ML libraries and data processing tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop PoCs for AI/ML and Generative AI aligned with business objectives.
• Write clean, efficient code for data processing, model training, and deployment.
• Collaborate with Technology to integrate solutions into existing systems.
• Conduct experiments to evaluate model performance and scalability.
• Stay updated on AI/ML trends and share knowledge with the team.
• Collaborate with Engineering to integrate solutions and enhance user engagement.
• Participate in technical discussions across Amex.
