Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Stowage Process & Strategy Manager to lead stowage policy and optimisation for a fleet based in Singapore. You will drive planning standardisation, coordinate with vessel planning teams and vendors, and implement efficiency initiatives to improve vessel turnaround and fuel efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Maritime Studies, Transportation, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years in vessel operations or maritime logistics.
• Hands-on vessel planning experience for large vessels.
• Familiarity with vessel stowage planning systems.
• Strong coordination or project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and distribute vessel stowage guidelines and updates to planning teams.
• Collaborate with vessel planning teams to optimise crane use and cargo operations for faster port turnarounds.
• Drive continuous improvements to reduce cargo rehandling and boost efficiency.
• Validate load plans against stability and cargo allocation requirements.
• Ensure planners receive up-to-date planning data files.
• Maintain planning procedures and coordinate with software vendors on upgrades.
• Administer and track planning system licenses.
• Monitor KPI performance of planning offices and advise improvements.
• Support initiatives to reduce fuel use and improve vessel productivity.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external partners.
