Job summary

Job Description:

  • Ensuring cargo safety while aiming to maximise vessel utilisation and boost output through positive crane intensity
  • Reducing all of the running expenses
  • Strong coordination and collaboration with the sales staff
  • Close coordination with local agents, ports, and ship crew is necessary for efficient operations.
  • When necessary, take part in port time reduction initiatives, and periodically check for updates.
  • Investigate any losses and claims from third parties.
  • Acceptance of CODs and applications for special cargo
  • Reducing water ballast to safe levels in order to save more fuel

Requirements:

  • Have a diploma in maritime studies or a related field;
  • Have at least four to five years of relevant ship or stowage planning experience in a feeder or MLO setup;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office;
  • Definite team player who is meticulous, analytical, and organised;
  • Capable of handling pressure at work;
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
