JAG Technical Services Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a responsible Storeman to support warehouse, inventory control, issue/return, and logistics operations, including handling controlled and sensitive items.
You will maintain accurate stock records, perform monthly stock takes, ensure proper storage and labeling, and assist with security and safety procedures. Strong attention to detail and reliability are essential for this role.
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Storeman to support warehouse, inventory, issue/return, and logistics operations involving controlled and sensitive items.
Receive, store, organize and maintain items according to type, identification and storage requirements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records at all times.
Conduct 100% monthly stock takes and reconcile physical stock against records.
Investigate and report any stock discrepancies, loss or damage promptly.
Ensure proper identification, labelling and segregation of items where required.
Maintain good housekeeping and ensure the warehouse remains orderly and secure.
Maintain strict accountability for all items under custody.
Maintain confidentiality of inventory information, records and operational activities.
Ensure proper storage, access control and segregation of sensitive items where applicable.
Immediately report any loss, discrepancy or irregularity to the Supervisor.
Before Issue:
Verify item identification, quantity and serviceability against the relevant records/documentation.
Conduct pre-issue checks and prepare items for collection or delivery.
Ensure all required issue documentation is completed and acknowledged.
Upon Return:
Verify returned items against records.
Check the quantity, identification and physical condition of returned items.
Segregate defective, damaged or unserviceable items.
Update inventory and transaction records within 3 working days.
Escalate discrepancies or damaged/missing items promptly.
Prepare items for delivery, collection and transportation.
Support scheduled weekly milk-run operations across designated locations.
Ensure correct quantity, packing, identification and documentation for every movement.
Maintain accurate stock cards, inventory records, issue/return documents and transaction records.
Ensure documentation is complete, traceable and properly filed.
Assist with periodic stock reconciliation, audits and inventory verification.
Monday to Friday: 0800 hrs – 1730 hrs
Overtime or additional working hours may be required depending on operational requirements and prior agreement.
Minimum 1–2 years of warehouse/storekeeping experience preferred.
Experience handling controlled, sensitive or high-accountability items will be an advantage.
Good understanding of inventory control and warehouse practices.
Able to maintain accurate records and perform physical stock counts.
Good attention to detail and strong sense of responsibility.
Able to follow security, safety and work procedures strictly.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer literacy and ability to maintain electronic records.
Able to perform warehouse duties, including lifting and handling of items.
Possession of a Class 4 driving licence will be an advantage.
Candidates must be willing to undergo applicable security/access clearance requirements.
