Job summary

S&S TECH SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks a Sales Manager (Store Operations) for our Jalan Papan store. The role focuses on driving daily sales, managing inventory, supervising staff, and upholding service standards in a busy dormitory setting.

You will monitor traffic and trends, approve purchasing decisions, and ensure compliance with SOPs while delivering top-notch customer service and safe, efficient store operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of retail or minimart supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work weekends, public holidays, and long hours when required.
• Physically demanding — long hours of standing and daily operations.
• Good understanding of sales strategies, inventory management, and retail operations.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and make operational decisions confidently.

Responsibilities

• Drive overall daily sales performance, ensuring targets and KPIs are met or exceeded.
• Monitor customer traffic, sales trends, and purchasing patterns to adjust strategies.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, product display, and customer service.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly and ensure frontline staff deliver excellent service.
• Conduct stock-taking, inventory checks, and variance investigations.
• Source, negotiate, and purchase inventory to maintain stock levels without over-stocking.
• Supervise the sales team, manage performance, and plan staff rosters.
• Train staff on customer service, product knowledge, and store SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with policies and SOPs; prepare daily/weekly reports.
• Oversee store equipment and safety; report issues promptly.
