Job summary

Far-East-Group-Limited in Singapore is seeking a Store Assistant (Retails and Operations) to support daily retail sales activities and provide operational support to the retail team.

You will assist with customer enquiries, order processing, inventory coordination, stock management, and delivery fulfilment to ensure a seamless customer experience and efficient store operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales support or retail environment is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
• Experience using ERP or inventory management systems is a plus.
• Good communication and coordination skills are essential.
• Detail-oriented, organised, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support daily retail sales operations, including picking, packing, testing, and preparation of compressors and related products.
• Prepare quotations, invoices, delivery orders, and other customer-related documentation.
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders to external customers.
• Monitor inventory levels and arrange stock replenishment through stock transfers.
• Process and coordinate internal stock transfers between HQ and warehouse locations.
• Raise Purchase Requisitions (PRs) for OPEX, office supplies, production materials, and standard procurement requirements.
• Assist the Sales Manager, General Manager and Directors in raising purchase requisitions and procurement-related activities.
• Perform Goods Receipt entries for GPS, GPAP, RSP, drop-off deliveries, and all incoming goods transactions.
• Maintain accurate inventory, stock movement, and procurement records in the system.
• Liaise with Sales, Purchasing, Operations and Warehouse to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide administrative and operational support to warehouse staff and supervisors as required.

About the role:

The Store Assistant (Retails and Operations) is responsible for supporting daily retail sales activities while providing operational support to the retail team. This role assists with customer enquiries, order processing, inventory coordination, stock management, and delivery fulfillment to ensure a seamless customer experience and efficient store operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily retail sales operations, including picking, packing, testing, and preparation of compressors and related products.


• Prepare quotations, invoices, delivery orders, and other customer-related documentation.


• Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders to external customers.


• Monitor inventory levels and arrange stock replenishment through stock transfers.


• Process and coordinate internal stock transfers between Headquarters (HQ) and warehouse locations.


• Raise Purchase Requisitions (PRs) for operational expenditure (OPEX), office supplies, production materials, and standard procurement requirements.


• Assist the Sales Manager, General Manager, and Directors in raising purchase requisitions and supporting procurement-related activities.


• Perform Goods Receipt (GR) entries for GPS, GPAP, RSP, drop-off deliveries, and all incoming goods transactions.


• Maintain accurate inventory, stock movement, and procurement records in the system.


• Liaise with internal departments including Sales, Purchasing, Operations, and Warehouse to ensure smooth business operations.


• Provide administrative and operational support to warehouse staff and supervisors as required.


• Assist with general operational, inventory, and sales support activities as assigned by management.

Key Requirements

• Experience in sales support, retail sales, picker in hardware retail environment will be an advantage


• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.


• Experience using ERP or inventory management systems will be an advantage.


• Good communication and coordination skills.


• Detail-oriented, organised, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


• Can be physically demanding at times due to some parts/product weighting ~30kg/pc or ~150kg/set.


• English communication is a must, and a second language will be an advantage.


• 5.5 days work week (Mon - Fri, 8.30am - 5.30pm, Sat, 8.30am - 12.30pm), Sunday Off.
