Job summary

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean all used pots, pans and kitchen utensils hygienically.
• Load dirty china, glass, silverware into the dishwashing machine; operate per procedures and stack cleaned wares neatly.
• Keep the kitchen area clean by sweeping, mopping and washing at all times.
• Maintain cleaning supplies from the stewarding store (chemicals, mops, broom, bags, pads).
• Upkeep cleansing supplies in the stewarding store systematically.
• Soak and wash chinaware and glassware with the recommended chemical.
• Place and arrange crockery properly in racks to avoid chips and cracks.
• Keep dishwashing machine and buffet equipment clean and in working condition.
• Set up buffet area according to instructions and standard procedures.
• Ensure assigned areas are thoroughly clean before work ends.
• Follow the special cleaning schedule and update as needed.
• Re-stack operating equipment after use for next shift.
• Ensure sanitation solution is available at every pot and dishwashing station.
• Assist colleagues in their tasks.
• Clear garbage bins and empty boxes in the kitchen.
• Report broken crockery and malfunctioning equipment to supervisor immediately.

Job Responsibilities

1. Wash and clean all used pots and pans and other kitchen utensil hygienically.
2. Load dirty /soil China’ Glass , Sliver & etc into the dish washing machine , operate the machine accordingly to the Standard & Procedures, and remove cleaned wares from machine and stack them in proper order.
3. Clean the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, washing and keeps these areas clean at all times.
4. Maintain the individually issued cleaning supplies from Stewarding Store i.e. Chemicals, mops, broom, plastic bags, pads and etc.
5. Upkeep the cleansing supplies in the stewarding store systematically.
6. Soak and wash/clean chinaware and glassware with the recommended chemical.
7. Place and arrange crockery properly in racks to avoid ‘chip & crack’.
8. Keep dish washing machine and buffet equipment clean and in working condition
9. Set up buffet area according to instructions and standard procedures.
10. Ensure that the assigned areas are thoroughly clean up before work ends.
11. Consult and follow up the special cleaning schedule.
12. Re- Stacking of operating equipment in proper places after use preparing for next use.
13. Ensure all the sanitation solution is in place in every pot and dishwashing station.
14. Assist / help fellow colleagues in their task.
15. Ensure that to clear all garbage bin empty boxes are clear time in the kitchen.
16. Report all broken crockery and malfunction equipment to Supervisor immediately.
