Job summary

FLEXIWORKFINDER PTE. LTD. is seeking a reliable kitchen steward/dishwasher to maintain cleanliness in a fast-paced food venue in Singapore. Responsibilities include washing, sanitizing, storing utensils, operating dishwashers, and ensuring waste disposal aligns with procedures.

Requirements: Basic Food Hygiene Certificate or willingness to obtain one; physically fit to stand and lift; able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays; team player with good attitude.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a steward/dishwasher in F&B or hospitality preferred but not essential
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
• Physically fit - able to stand for long periods and lift moderate loads
• Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays
• Team player with good attitude and reliability

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and store all kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery, and cooking equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, storage areas, and waste disposal points
• Operate dishwashing machines and manage cleaning chemicals safely
• Sort and dispose of waste and recyclables according to venue procedures
• Ensure kitchen equipment (ovens, grills, exhaust hoods) is cleaned per schedule
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations
• Restock cleaning and kitchen supplies as required
