Job summary

Plaza Premium Lounge in Singapore is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support daily kitchen operations and ensure a clean, well-organized environment.

You will assist in setting up food counters, replenishing items, and helping cooks and servers as needed, while maintaining hygiene and safety standards during shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in relevant sector preferred.
• No experience accepted but strong interest may apply.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Able to work efficiently with limited supervision and as a team.
• Hardworking with initiative and accountable.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchen clean, well maintained and organized.
• Keep floors dry and clean.
• Carry out cleaning duties and support daily kitchen operations.
• Set up food counters and replenish food/beverages at counters and refrigerators.
• Assist Cooks and Servers as needed.
• Perform general cleaning (sweeping, mopping, washing, rubbish disposal).
• Report maintenance or hazard issues to the chef on duty.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ensure floors are dry and clean at all times.
• Carry out cleaning duties and support the daily operations of the kitchen
• Assist in setting up the food counters and replenishing food and beverages at food counters and refrigerators
• Assist the Cooks and Servers as and when necessary.
• Carry out general cleaning as directed to include cleaning, sweeping, mopping up, washing up, emptying of rubbish bins and boxes.
• Report any maintenance or hazard issues to the chef on duty.
• Other duties as assigned.
