Job summary

Bukit View Secondary School is seeking a STEM Programme Support Officer to assist the implementation of the JOULES programme and the ALP Makerspace. This role supports teachers, trainers and students in STEM lessons and manages the JOULES Smart Centre.

The position requires a Polytechnic Diploma in STEM and about 3 years of relevant experience. It demands meticulousness, teamwork and multitasking in a fast-paced school environment, with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Polytechnic Diploma in STEM required or equivalent.
• 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of prototyping/manufacturing processes is useful.
• Candidates with diploma but strong experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up equipment for JOULES lessons and ALP activities.
• Manage bookings and inventories for the JOULES Smart Centre.
• Support daily operations and assist teachers and students during STEM lessons.
• Attend STEM training and assist with student workshops.
• Assist ALP Committee with equipment procurement and makerspace safety.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the JOULES Smart Centre and Makerspace.
