Job summary

Bukit View Secondary School invites applications for a contract position to support the Junior Outstanding Leaders in Energy for Sustainability (JOULES) programme. The role involves preparing equipment, managing bookings, and assisting teachers and students in STEM activities.

You will supervise the school's Makerspace, maintain inventory, and help procure items with the ALP committee while ensuring a safe, clean, and well-organised learning environment.

Qualifications

• An effective team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Meticulous, able to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Polytechnic diploma, preferably STEM, with 3 years of relevant experience; those without but with experience may apply.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up equipment for JOULES lessons (micro:bit, sensors, solar panels, etc.).
• Manage booking and maintenance of the JOULES Smart Centre.
• Assist trainers/teachers and help students; conduct workshops if possible.
• Maintain inventory and ensure equipment returned after lessons.
• Support ALP Committee with procurement inputs and keep the centre clean and orderly.
