Job summary

KYK Construction Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Project Coordinator to assist the Project Manager with steel and metal works coordination, liaising with consultants, main contractors, and suppliers, and tracking shop drawings, RFIs, and method statements.

You will support drawings and technical submissions, assist in material take-off, cost checks, VO support, and maintain records of quantities and material usage, while attending site meetings and issuing simple progress trackers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in steel, metal works, or construction industry.
• Able to read drawings and perform basic quantity take-off.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Word; AutoCAD / TEKLA knowledge is a plus.
• Responsible, willing to learn, and able to work under guidance.
• Good communication and Team player with a positive learning attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in day-to-day coordination of steel and metal works projects.
• Liaise with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Track shop drawings, RFIs, method statements, and technical submissions.
• Assist in drawing coordination and ensure alignment with site conditions.
• Assist in material take-off, VO support, and progress claims.
• Attend site meetings and inspections as required.
• Prepare simple project reports, schedules, and trackers.
• Maintain documentation and assist in delivery planning.
