Job summary

KYK DESIGN & BUILD PTE. LTD. is seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to prepare quotations, cost estimates, and tender submissions for structural steel projects in Singapore.

The role also involves reviewing contracts, managing tender documents, and assisting with measurement and cost planning across projects. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in Singapore Structural Steel, with a solid grasp of basic estimation, measurement, and contract administration.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in Singapore Structural Steel.
• Basic understanding of construction contracts (PSSCOC / SIA) advantageous but not compulsory.
• Able to handle basic estimation, measurement, and contract administration work.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotations, cost estimates, and tender submissions for structural steel projects (QS-related work)
• Review and manage project contracts, tender documents, and subcontract agreements
• Assist in measurement, taking-off quantities, and cost planning for projects
• Ensure contractual documents and project requirements are properly followed and executed
• Monitor project progress, variation orders, claims submissions, and payment certification processes
• Assist in cost control and support resolution of contractual or commercial issues
• Coordinate with project teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients on project and contract matters
• Maintain proper documentation for quotations, claims, and contract administration

Education
